Team Sky has been one of the most successful pro cycling teams since it's inception in 2010, with Pinarello at it's side since day one, working constantly with the team riders to improve the Dogma, with one end purpose: to win the Tour de France with a British rider, a feat they have achieved 5 times thanks to the legendaries Sir Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome. Bradley Wiggins was the first British rider to win the Tour de France, he called the Pinarello Dogma "A game changer".
The Pinarello Dogma is the result of a long and ongoing development program between Pinarello and Team Sky, with a focus on aerodynamics, stiffness and responsiveness. With an aero shaped frame and fork, low weight and many notes from the Pinarello Bolide TT bike to reduce overall bike wind drag. "I’ve always valued the way Pinarello work so closely with the team and the riders. It’s a true partnership. The Dogma is a natural born winner" says Chris Froome.
We are excited to carry the Pinarello Dogma line, as it is a true racing bike, that was also made with comfort in mind. A true all-round bike, capable of taking the climbs, and never losing speed with Pinarello's asymmetric design which offsets the asymmetric forces created during the pedalling. Check out Martyn Ashton pushing the Pinarello Dogma to the extreme!
Team Sky has won Paris-Nice 5 times, Tour de Romandie 3 times and Critérium du Dauphiné 5 times, and many more monument and classics, and many World Time Trial Championships. Bradley Wiggins won the first Rainbow Jersey ever for Team Sky and they continue to hold the 3rd spot in UCI Tour Rank.
Team Sky has been racing since on Pinarello bicycles since it's inception. Shimano, Fizik and Pro has provided components, with Ford as the official team cars. The team is also backed by Oakley, Kask, Castelli, and Park Tool.
