BH as a brand and a as company has been a Spanish manufacture of bicycles for over a century now. The journey of BH started (Beistegui Hermanos) began in Guipuzkoa, Spain, a city of arms manufacturers.  The company which first was an arms manufacture turned it around after the First World War and set out to provide a fast, comfortable and cheap way to get around for the local population, they have been a synonym of bicycles and cycling for the locals. Many children have given their first and hesitant turn of the pedals with a BH bicycle, and have helped create many legendry cyclists.

 

By 1935, BH established itself in the Spanich cycling community. The official BH Team had one of the most competitive cyclist of the day, Gustave Deloor, who the first two editions of the Vuelta a Espana in 1935 and 1936. To date, 7 Vuelta a Espana have been won on BH Bicycles. Fede Etxabe achieved another historical triumph in 1987 by winning the legendary Alpe d’Huez stage of the Tour de France and becoming the first Spanish cyclist to include his name in one of its 21 bends. In more recent times, BH has been the provider of several cycling teams, such as Liberty Seguros or AG2R. In most recent years, BH sponsors Team Direct Energie.

100 years later, the BH family are still at the head of BH and continue to maintain the essence of a company that remains true to the values it was founded upon: innovation, research and technological development; social and environmental responsibility; dynamism, commitment, reliability and trustworthiness; and, above all, its passion for bicycles. And all this with the aim of continuing to offer sport and health products to the entire world.
